Has a degree from Escola de Belas Artes – EBA/UFRJ, and attended courses and workshops on photography at Ateliê da Imagem/RJ, EAV – Parque Lage/RJ, UFRJ, SFF/Niterói-RJ, Ateliê Oriente/RJ, Casa Daros, CCJF/RJ, ABAF/RJ and at daguerreotypist Francisco Moreira da Costa studio – Lumiar/RJ, Lab Clube/RJ
